Een willekeurige greep uit wat tot stand komt als de roots van klassieke muziek verstrengeld raken met de jazz mindset.
Vanuit dit licht is String Merchants ontstaan.
Met deze unieke combinatie geeft String Merchants een alternatief label aan de vaste waarde van een strijkkwartet, met improvisatie als de rode draad.
Van Monteverdi tot Monk, van barok tot bebop. Eclectisme troef met Lucas Caluwaerts, Jeroen Vernimmen, Pieter Van den Branden en Mathias Van den Plas.

Simona Manzella is passionate about documentary and street photography. Her photos aim to capture the daily and spontaneous moments in people’s lives. With the project Lives of Marrakech she wanted to explore the culture, the traditions, the places and the daily habits of people living in Marrakech.
“One of a kind, Marrakech is a city that get inside you and clings to all your senses with its colours, sounds, smells, noises and people.
From the artisans of the traditional Souk market, to carpet retailers, from snake charmers of Jemaa el-Fna square, to spice vendors and so on, each of them is part of the soul of the city, and transmit it in their singular explosive essence.
Each moment is so real and spontaneous that it makes you perceive the authenticity of the people who are not embarrassed even standing in front of the camera, thus showing a strong personality.”
